EASY-TO-USE OZONE WATER TREATMENT SOLUTION AT SALMAR SMOLT HATCHERY

SalMar Settefisk in Follafoss, part of SalMar ASA, is one of the largest salmon producers in the world, with a production of 10 million smolts (fry) per year. When expanding its facility with a new RAS (recirculating aquaculture system), Primozone® was chosen to supply and design the complete ozone water treatment solution for the hatchery.

Preferred Supplier for Sustainable Aquaculture

The Primozone ozone system was specifically requested by both SalMar Settefisk and Nofitech, the designer of the RAS system, as they considered it the best available solution on the market.
SalMar already had a Primozone ozone installation at another hatchery and was aware of its advantages, while Nofitech, with 25 years of experience in designing land-based fish farms, understands the importance of a well-designed ozone water treatment solution.
